    Hello GM,
    thank you, i understood.
I will check this out for my room.
What i wrote was misleading: i only will stack for events, not at home. At home i'll lay the woofers and put the horn above.
Should i use this equipment at events i'll have more distance between the cabinets and the listener and i can arrange the woofers vertikal; that's good for horizontal dispersion too.
Thank you for the help and best regards
    Wolf

I note you added a tweeter.
a pair I had in the early 70s I put 67 ohm 20 w resistors in series with the horn and bridged them with a hand full of .1-mfd to the desired hf.

    Hello older guy,
adding the resistor and the capacitors to the Altec is a good idea. I will check this out for my symbiotek ones. May be it helps a bit.
    Thank you

    Hello older guy,
i added the tweeter to the "seeburg", because i built in a EV 1824M midrange driver. This driver ends at about 6000cps. It needs a tweeter.
In my Seeburg's are no Altec speakers, i needed these at another place.
I surely would never add a EV T35 to an Altec 80X-driver, the T35 ain't good enough (in my ears). It's 3dB-point is about 15000cps, here i see no advantage to Altec.
    Best regards and tahnk you
